Recorded live at the Marquee Club, London, January 16th, 1978. Mixed at Foel Studio, Llanfair Caereinion, Powys, Wales, UK. Analogue to Digital transfers at Abbey Road Studios, London, October 2004. Original album released as Charisma CVLD 101 ( 2-LP ) in July 1978. Tracks 2-2 and 2-5 previously unreleased on CD outside of Japan. The first pressing of original 1989 CD release omitted the tracks 2-1 through to 2-5, even though the CD and back cover mentioned the whole set (10 tracks). The second pressing of original 1989 CD release omitted the tracks 2-2 and 2-5. The same was fixed on the CD, but not on the back cover (still showing 10 tracks). The third pressing of original 1989 CD release omitted the tracks 2-2 and 2-5, with finally the fixed setlists shown on both the CD and the back cover. This remastered reissue of " Vital " has restored the album to its original running order and length. No overdubs have been employed in this recording. Made in the EU.
