Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique. Département d'ethnomusicologie, Musée de l'Homme, Paris. These documents were collected in November and December 1952, in the course of an ethnomusicological field-trip sponsored by the Institut Français d'Afrique Noire and the Musée De l'Homme. The technical equipment was provided by the C.N.R.S. and UNESCO. This album is a new edition of the record previously released under the numbers MC 20.045 and LVLX 193. The notes have been revised and enlarged. Musicians credits are only available for the three first tracks. D.P.
