Released in standard jewel case with 1-page insert folder. ℗ 1964 Phonogram Ltd (London) Made in W. Germany. All though not specified in the liner notes or tray inserts, all tracks are in seemingly unremastered mono except for "Mama Said," "Twenty Four Hours From Tulsa" and "Nothing," which are in seemingly unremastered stereo. On subsequent reissues (including the 1997 Mercury edition), most of the mono versions were replaced by either remastered stereo versions or, in many cases, "remixes" by Roger Wake & Mike Gill that combined alternate vocal and/or instrumental takes into new stereo versions of the songs that differ, sometimes significantly, from the original versions. That's because many of the original tracks were never mixed to stereo in 1964, or the original stereo masters have been lost to time (and warehouse fires). Stereo LP versions from the 1960s of this album were generally simulated stereo from mono masters rather than the true stereo multitracks. Of particular note: This edition includes the original stereo album version of "Nothing"; most compilations and CD editions of this album include either the original mono album version (which is a different take from the stereo version) or the Wake/Gill stereo remix/remake.
