This is the first release of this 1986 soundtrack album on CD. It is poorly mastered from the original tapes; many tracks have noticeable warble, and at the 4:01 mark in "Magic Dance" the tape slows down dramatically for a split-second.

The 4-page insert is completely blank inside. Track artists are not credited, other than the cover art's mention of David Bowie for tracks 3, 5, 7, 9, and 12; and Trevor Jones for the original score.
