The songs on this CD were recorded on February 9th and 10th, 1959 at the E.M.I. recording studios in London. Several hundred of Cliff's fans were invited along to see this young star make his first LP and it was some party! With their great solo instrumentals The Drifters, Britains greatest ever rockin' group, contribute to make this a truly memorable disc. Recording first published 1959 Digipak release. Reissued with Cliff's 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th album releases to form part of celebrations of his 40th anniversary. When joined together the CD cover spines read 'Cliff's 40'.
