Filmed in December 1986 and directed by Emmy nominee and Grammy award winner, Geoff Wonfer, this film captures Spandau Ballet in performance during their "Through The Barricades, Across The Borders" tour, which at the height of their success saw them play to over a million fans. Spandau Ballet "Live From The N.E.C DVD perfectly documents a band riding high on the wave of worldwide success. The 80’s were their era; heady, hedonistic and brimming with electric energy and sound. The outrageous outfits sported on stage may nod towards the new romantic fashion the band were famous for embracing, but almost two decades on and with the benefit of state-of-the-art digital restoration and for the first time remixed in 5.1 Surround Sound, the concert footage on "Live From The N.E.C" is as fresh today on DVD as it ever was. re-mixed by Gary Kemp and Gary Langan for PCM stereo, Dolby Digital and dts 5.1 Surround Sound. Langan alongside Spandau Ballet had recorded the original concert, "Through The Barricades, Across The Borders", back in December 1986. Gary Kemp oversaw all of the picture restoration and supervised the "Widescreen" edit.
