Recorded at Western Works Studio, Sheffield, October 1979 - April 1982. Manufactured and distributed by Rough Trade Records, 1983. "Vibrating system set in motion. Stark naked sounds jerk. Ice cold shudder unwraps dancing sparks. The sounds effects had somehow gone out of synchronisation with the script." In the top left of the back cover the catalog number "DVR 1" is printed. Some copies came with a small "DVR 2" sticker that was put on top of this catalog number to hide the wrong catalog number. Track D1 ends in a locked groove.
