Mutual Network radio broadcast, Café Bohemia, Greenwich Village, NY on July 13, 1957 (tracks 4). VARA radio broadcast, Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, The Netherlands on December 8, 1957 (tracks 6 to 9). Mutual Network radio broadcast, Bandstand USA #41, Café Bohemia, Greenwich Village, NY on May 17, 1958 (tracks 3, 5). CBS-TV broadcast, The Robert Herridge Theater Show, CBS Studio 61, NYC, NY on April 2, 1959 (track 10). Tracks 3, 5 are as above. CD incorrectly lists them as part of the same session as track 4. Track 4 is incomplete. CD doesn't mention this. Track 5 is Walkin'. CD lists it as Rollin' Blowin' Walkin'. Walkin' is written by Miles Davis. CD lists track 5 as being written by "Rollins." Track 6 is 'Round Midnight. CD lists it as Round About Midnight. Track 9 is A Night in Tunisia. CD lists it as Four Squared / A Night In Tunisia. John Coltrane plays tenor sax, Bill Evans plays piano and Philly Joe Jones plays drums on tracks 3, 5. CD says Sonny Rollins on tenor sax, Red Garland on piano and Art Taylor on drums.
