Recording made on October 21, 1998, at Carnegie Hall, New York City. Hamburg Steinway D#0120 and piano technical service provided by Richard de La Rosa, Pro Piano, NY. When new, front case has small orange sticker which reads: "Confirms a daunting legend. Volodos is unquestionably among the world's master pianists... stupendous. Sony's sound triumphs... - Gramophone Liner notes in English, French and German. Note: Track 7 should read 'Étude-tableau In C Minor, Op. 33, No. 3 There is no such thing as posthumous etudes by Rachmaninov. There are earlier versions, but this is not the case here.
